T10 Elemental Shaman 4-Piece Bonus

Please note this is still a work in progress and we may end up with a different or modified bonus before the patch goes live.

    if i read the first blue post correctly, the added allways crit bonus with the reduced cooldown would help ele shamys alot, but if i read the update crrectly and it just adds 6 seconds to lava burst i will NOT take the time to get the 4 set ele shamy t10 bonus, as a 4 set bonus that only increases time on a dot thats super easy to reaply and is already long enough is not worth the time to get (sorry if i miss read this post)

    Yes, you misread it. The blue post said they werent happy with either the reduced CD on LvB nor the idea of LvB critting without Flame Shock. It doesnt add 6 seconds to lava burst, it adds 6 seconds to the duration of flame shock when its up. Plus, i wouldnt want to break rotation to reapply Flame Shock every X amount of seconds. I like to apply it as little as possible going with my normal rotation. I think the 3rd option of adding time onto the FS timer will be nice with the bonus from the 2p T10. More LB and CL means shorter CD for Ele Mastery. But until more theorycrafting is done on the 4p t10 bonus we wont know the DPS increase/decrease of the bonus.

    ….thats not much of an upgrade. I mean really cant they do something Fair like -

    4P : The damage from your Lighting overlord now does 75% ( Up from 50% ) of your lighting bolt or Chain lightig spells.

    Overpowered? Well i highly doubt it sinic elemental shaman as of right now are 2nd worst DPS class in the entire game. This would be a fair buff and make our T10 set worth getting.

    I couldnt agree more with Claimer. Its really sad to see my shaman being close to top dps only during the first 10 secs of a boss fight. The way other classes increase their dps in time vs shaman’s its way better while we get stuck around 6k-7k.

    To be honest the new T-4 set bonus is a complete Joke. The way it works now with all the moving in ICC you find yoursef reapplying Flame Shock anyways.
    When feral druids get literally a 1000plus dps increase with their 4 set and we get this it makes you wonder if blizzard really knows what they are doing.
    Give us a chance to compete with other dps classes and come up with a reasonable 4 set bonus that actually is appealing.
    A Lightning Bolt or Lava burst adding another additional Dot that added approx anywhere from 300-1000additional DPS would be really nice especially with all the movement, ideas like that.

    i like th old set boonuses better honestly… might stick with the old T9 set.

    Morons, all of them. First they decimate the old 4pc T9 bonus, because with all the millions of dollars in revenue they get each month, the best Bliztard can come up with is destroying our chance to be a competative DPS contributor. And all because some people in PvP were making things hard for others…guess what…it’s PvP. Not that you guys care cause you’re getting the money in your pocket every month.
    As for the ongoing debacle regarding the T10 4pc bonus, this is just getting ridiculous. First we have to adjust our tactics because of a idiotic T9 nerf. Then we adjust to the original T10 4pc bonus…and now we have to adjust yet again…and going by those very intelligent blue posts, we will (not may) have to readjust yet again. Thank you Bliz, for once again proving that when I thought that only SOE was bereft of commonsense and talent, you step up to the plate and prove me wrong. Kudos.
