Can’t say I have noticed this increase change on my server(Argent Dawn) but I will say it get an insane ammount of eternal life…which is nice too.
I am lucky to get 1 or 2 frost lotus a day and thats flying arround as a druid in bird form which is the fastest way to grind herbs and I go to various zones.

Wow… People whine when they get affected by a little… ok so your not gonna make as much off flasks or selling lotus… miners are loseing theier cd on titansteel so the price on those are gonna drop… everyone gets shafted a little here and there its just not all at once
if anything, making lotus purchasable with frost orbs will hurt herbalists. not a slight drop tweak.

ya, Brian, my main source of income is Blacksmithing, which doesnt make much anyway until you get the ICC patterns, and I need those Saronite for my Shadowmourne quest chain. So, go ahead and nerf Blacksmithing rayes, I wouldn’t mind much. Go questing for gold!

sorry about my previous comment, there some errors. SO I’ll just say again:
I say that it will lower prices for flasks. If the frost lotus is easier to get, therefore flasks are easier to make, therefore prices for flasks drop. Perhaps not alot but will still drop abit, which does affect those who sell the herbs and flasks. Also even if it does only go up by 50% of its previous drop rate, it’s stll more of a chance to get it will, which will still affect everything.

i am slightly confused by how little information this is s it saying that over half of the plants in Northrend will drop frost lotus or increasing the current drop rate by an extra 50% making it what roughly 7%?

LOL! 50% of what? If it was a 2% rate to begin with, now its 3%. Big deal.
Definitly a plus imo, now i wont have to pay 90gold for 1 frost lotus.
Thank you Blizzard you finally did one thing right.

While it may make flasks cheaper, it will definitely hurt the herbalists that make a majority of their money from them. I guess it’s for the better though

I think it is great and sure do hope that it makes profits for herblists better I can always use an additional 50% increase to my gold supply

I seriously doubt that it will make anything cheaper, and will only boost profits for herbalists.
Hot debate. What do you think?
